July 5, 200817 yr Author I was relatively curious about that as well, was surprised he was in Winston Salem. Only thing I could think of is that they wanted him to get some confidence before coming back to Charlotte. Although, I do know that he isn't the first Sox minor leaguer to rehab at a lower level, although it is much more typical with pitchers coming back from injuries.
