The move makes room on the roster for Bobby Jenks, who is expected to be activated prior to Friday's game. July 17, 200817 yr This is an indication of just how much the Sox think of Adam Russel. I really believe the Sox feel this guy will be one of there primary set-up men two years from now.
July 17, 200817 yr I think Carrasco might help again in the future, but as I remind myself he only made one appearance. Russell seems to be doing a good job also.

I re-read my interview with him last week, and I must say, I did a damn good job, lol.
July 18, 200817 yr I am glad the Sox are sticking with Adam. The release and arm slot are really tough to pick up for righties. He could be a closer type with a little experience.
