Topics posting multiple times

Featured Replies

Every once in a while, and always on the contest board, when I start a new topic it will just cycle and post the same topic over and over again until I exit. I'm using Netscape 7.1, is it a flaw with the board, my browser, or user error?

You aren't the only one. I have deleted a TON of multiple posts from a lot of people. I asked Jas about it once, and they had no idea.

I feel like such an idiot when I look and have five posts on the same subject. Of course it's always a stupid subject at that :)

I've done it a few times and from what I've noticed its cause you don't think you made the post so you go back and hit post again.

If its actually double posting then I have no idea. Usually something that happens if the server hangs up for like 5 seconds and it will think you double clicked and make a double post.

With mine the screen never changes. I then exit out and come back and bingo 3-5 posts. All in all for the price of admission, I won't complain.
