August 5, 200817 yr any GM that overpays or gives him a contract for more than one year should be fired immediately. three straight years of back problems are all the flashing lights and sirens you need to see.

August 5, 200817 yr QUOTE (bighurt4life @ Aug 5, 2008 -> 01:29 AM) Kuhn is tearing the cover off at Great Falls. Anybody know anything about him? Well, you're probably looking for something a little more informative than this, but... I do know he was our 15th round pick this year out of West Virginia. He's got average size (5'10'' 185) for a 2B, which is what he probably projects to, even though he played SS at WV. Good speed, not great (never had more than 8 SB in a season). Not much HR potential (20 in 906 AB's). Also has a good eye and approach at the plate - had 92 BB compared to 109 K in his career, and has said likes seeing a bunch of pitches his 1st time up to let the 3,4,5 hitters have a chance to get a better look at the pitcher. He's 21 and bats lefty. I think at best he projects to be a Chris Getz-type prospect, which is still pretty solid. Edited August 5, 200817 yr by dasox24
August 5, 200817 yr Oh, and what a great start by Cassel tonight. Lowered his ERA to 2.95 on the season. He was kinda my sleeper prospect earlier this year and definitely a guy to keep an eye on...
