I was also thinking the same thing before I read the article. Gavin has really done a solid job this year.

It's not 4.5, but they're in first place.

 

Lee dominated the Sox in the only game he started against them this year, but his ERA in his career against them is over 6. Let's hope that his journey to 20 wins is avoided for 1 more start.

I swear, Jenks gave me a few more gray hairs during the 9th, but he got Pedroia out to end the game, and that's all that mattered.......

Dare I say, Gavin could make an incredible arguement to be the White Sox MVP right now. It would be a tough choice between him and Carlos... Without either of those guys, this is a third place team... at best.

Not a tough choice at all. Gavin has been solid lately, and has a respectable amount of wins but he also gets the most run support of all starters in the AL according to CSN.

I am going to say something that may surprise everyone. I think we are going to take it to Lee tomorrow.

 

And this is why I never say optimistic things about the White Sox.
