shipps was chased by a lion...

Featured Replies

I have been known to sleep walk and talk throughout my life. Some nights I talk ALL night long if Iam over tired. Some nights I turn lights on throughout the house or maybe spill water somewhere. In some extreme cases when I was younger I was convinced my brother dropped a bomb down my throat and I pleaded with my mom that he did.And there was the time I punched my brother in the face while he wsa trying to go to sleep (so he says I have no memory of that happening).

So last night I dreamed I was being chased by a lion and in complete terror I jumped out of the bed and landed really awkwardly on one leg.My knee is swollen and I think I sprained it pretty bad.The last thing I thought when I went to bed last night was that I would hurt my knee while sleeping.

Do you guys have any experience with yourself or family and friends sleep walking and talking?

My 10 year old daughter is a huge sleep talker. She pretty much narrates her dreams for us to hear in the next room.

Some friends of mine that were dormmates in college. . . one of them was a world-class sleepwalker. It was sort of funny and nobody thought much of it until one day my non-somnambulist friend woke up to find the sleepwalker cutting huge holes in the non-walkers bedsheets with a big sharp pair of scissors and the guy in bed! The guy who had been sleeping yelled "What the hell are you doing?!" and woke the other guy out of his daze. He blinked and looked around, then looked at the scissors in his hands and at the sheets he was cutting to ribbons, and at the look on his roommates face, and then just said, "I'm not doing anything. Just go back to sleep."

I'm glad my dormmate just masturbated a lot.

Gee...I'm kind of disappointed...by the thread titile I thought this would involve John Kitna!!!??? :lolhitting

My traveling room mate on the cross country team in college would sleep walk. We made certain to put everything away in the room so he would not trip or fall. He only did it once or twice but I could tell he was really stressed out about it.
