I don't think it was ever a point of the Sox not wanting Ray, it was a matter of them not being willing to pay him what they thought he would command going into free agency.

I agree we need to give Robbie until the end of July then start complaining if he isn't an improvement over Jimenez. Remember who to judge him against. I don't think it is fair to judge him against himself 5-6 years ago. What did we have and what do we have now. See, I'm starting to feel better already.
