Hitting around .230. Really struggled out of the gate. Then got hot about a month ago to get him up to .230 and has stayed right in that neighborhood. The Sox definitely hoped for more.
July 14, 200322 yr Ring looked very solid. Nice curveball and good control. The guy that impressed me the most was that Rockies pitcher from Asia. He seemed to have command of three pitches and knew how to pitch. The Pirates guy Vanderbotch was also very good. Harden, who was probably the most hyped, has great velocity and such, but I didn't see all that much movement on his fastball. Greinke was damn good. I'm guessing we'll see Honel and someone else in next years.
