Offer to ex-Cubs fireballer includes option for third season...

I am going to guess he pitches 15-20 innings next season, that's it.

You think he'll start for them? Or be a closer?

Closer, Indians don't have any better options, and Wood can't throw all of his pitches anymore in fear of his arm blowing out.

I wish we'd sign Wood and beg somebody to take MacDougal and his millions off our hands.

Looks like we’ll finally be getting that epic Wood/Getz duel we’ve all been waiting for.

V Martinez: “Kerry, throw him the slider!”

Wood: “I can’t! His grinderness, that swagger, h-he’s like a TWIN!!!”

Wedge: Uh-oh.

Physical passed. Done deal. Gets $10 mil a year. Yikes.

That K Rod deal doesn't look so bad now.
