Non-Sox: Koskie possibly to the DL

Featured Replies

From Yahoo:

Minnesota Twins third baseman Corey Koskie, who left Friday’s loss to Anaheim with a back strain, may hit the DL following the All-Star break. Koskie originally hoped to return Thursday following the break, but Sunday he told manager Ron Gardenhire this injury was different than back pain he’d experienced in the past. The Twins had planned to activate outfielder Jacque Jones on Sunday, but now will wait through the break to see if Koskie’s injury necessitates a trip to the DL.

Always good to see a Twins player go down.

No it's not. I never wish an injury on anyone, and I never like to see it from out rival. What's the fun in beating a team that isn't 100% healthy? I don't want them to be able to blame a season gone bad on injuries.
