I think the WBC Finals are in LA and Team USA plays the Sox in Glendale on March 6th.

I'm sorry but I think representing your country should be a little more 'selective' than simply choosing what team you play for.

 

I can see if a player is a citizen of two countries, he picks one and plays for that team forever.

 

Just my two cents.

They use the Olympic qualification rules. I believe it is if someone in your family as recent as your grandparents was a citizen of a ciuntry you can play for them.
