July 16, 200322 yr Ive created this thread just to talk about cars. First off, if you could have two cars, of any kind in any price range, which cars would you take? Im going to be very realistic (and even tho I could choose others, these two cars are my favorite cars ever). My first choice would be my midnite blue 2002 1.8T Volkswagon Jetta. I said my because I already have this car. You may think Im crazy but I love this car. Its just awesome. My second choice would be a black 1985 Chevy Monte Carlo. I love muscle cars. When I get out of high school and have enough money Im going to find one of these and get it as my second car. And second, Ferraris and Lambourghinis and Jaguars and Porsches are overrated IMO. Theyre nice yeah but look at the kinda people who drive em. Rich old people. When was the last time you saw some young, cool non athlete driving around in a Ferrari? Ive never seen that. When you see someone like that driving a nice car its usually a muscle car. I saw a buncha cars like those mentioned today. I dont think one of the drivers was under 40. If you delivered a Ferrari to my doorstep and demanded that I take it, yead Id take it but I wouldnt go out and buy one. Muscle cars are definitely nicer IMO. Actually Id go with a Cadillac too. But only the old style muscle Caddies. Theres just something I like about old muscle cars. And do you like to race? I dont. A real good way to mess up your car and even worse mess up yourself. Id like my cars to be fast but Im not going to race them. Thats a dumb idea. So tell me what ya think. Use this thread to talk anything ya want to about cars. Parts, favorites, heck even funny stories I guess...
July 16, 200322 yr I have a '02 Cadillac Deville DTS..... silver in color. Me and Maury are gonna have to grow mullets for when I buy my '69 Dodge Charger and paint it like the "General Lee"

July 16, 200322 yr The Saturn Ion is a nice car... Though, when I buy a car in a couple of year's I'll probably end up with a Toyota.... So damn reliable and ridiculous gas mileage.

July 16, 200322 yr I just turned 18 and I am gettin a car for free from my friends mom (good car, they just have 4 cars and 3 drivers so why need 4 cars?) or a car for 1200......I only want it to last for a year untill I can get a better one BE GOOD

July 16, 200322 yr Author Actually I dont particularly like the 87 model. And I really dont like all these new models. Theyre ugly and theyre remakes of a classic car. Chevy should have just stopped making Monte Carlos. They got it as good as they possibly could when they made the 1985 model. These recent models are jsut real screwups...
July 16, 200322 yr BMW Z4 3.0 L Engine. Sweetest thing I have ever laid my eyes on. I guess my 2nd choice would be Audi TT, but it's s*** compared to the Z4.

You got tons of power and plenty of luxury in one of those. Caddies are so pimp.
July 16, 200322 yr I'd absolutely love a 540 BMW or Audi A8 (The new version). Then to go with my phat car, I'd get me the Lexus RX as my SUV, although i love the looks of the Range Rover. Hummers are phat too.

July 16, 200322 yr I'll take that first car in Cerb's post. And I'd take a Porsche 911 too, either silver or navy blue in color. I love the way that car looks. Also, at my age, I'd also like to have either a van(not a minivan.....I'm talking one of those big vans. I'd take out the back seats, and I think you know what I'd do back there ), or like a Chevy S-10 pickup.
