One of the walk-ons on the Tennessee basketball team came to watch my team's intramural game (he's really good friends with one of my friends), and he wore a Michael Jordan White Sox jersey to our game. I thought it was awesome since I've never actually seen one (though that's probably b/c I don't live in Chicago).

and i was JUST thinking about Space Jam yesterday. how uncanny.

Because of all the women in B'ham he nailed, yes. Because of his baseball skills, no. I watched him play in person, he blew hard. He was rude to everybody and insulted B'ham after he left.

Not trying to be a Jordan apologist, but to take a guy who has never played baseball at any level above high school...

 

And hasn't played baseball in over 10 years... and then drop him into AA... the fact that he got any hits at all amazes me.

 

And I forgot that he got 30 stolen bases that year.
