February 24, 200917 yr Lemme see if I can make any sense with this post: I noticed the other day when I think of White Sox players, that I usually equate them with a certain jersey. As in, I seem to remember a player most in one jersey instead of another. Does anyone else have this sort of visualistic problem? For example, if I were to get a Danks jersey, I would only get the white jersey, because most of my memories of Danks is in the white jersey. Get what I'm saying? Here's a brief run-down of past and present white sox players and the jersey I remember them best in: John Danks: white Paul Konerko: white Juan Uribe: white Carl Everett: black Jermaine Dye: black Frank Thomas: white Carlos Quentin: black Freddy Garcia: grey Gavin Floyd: white Jose Contreras: black Carlos Lee: grey Bobby Jenks: white Damaso Marte: black Neil Cotts: black Josh Fields: white Orlando Hernandez: black Tadahito Iguchi: white Mike LaValier: white Dustin Hermanson: black Joe Crede: grey Aaron Rowand: white AJ Pierzynski: white Anyone else have this same dillemma? Which color jersey do you best remember some players in? Edited February 24, 200917 yr by SouthsideDon48
February 24, 200917 yr we are crazy as fans. I hear what you are saying. Most of those memories are reinforced by video highlights. Cool thread idea.
February 24, 200917 yr I tend to remember rowand in a white sleeveless jersey...without the black undershirt...after having torn off the sleeves himself.
February 24, 200917 yr I tend to try to think of all the players in the black with the white striped pants. That is my favorite uniform combination.
February 25, 200917 yr I have a friend who walked into the Sox locker room in the early 90's and can't get the picture of Frank Thomas not in uniform out of his mind.
February 25, 200917 yr Freddy never knew the Sox had White Jerseys. 4 game winning streak with the White Jerseys-- doesn't matter Black or Grey Jerseys only.
