March 5, 200917 yr Gordon Beckham is odd and entertaining at the same time. I hope he continues to enlighten us periodically throughout the season.
March 5, 200917 yr Beckham is awesome, but this quote made me sad. I was a little embarrassed, to put it mildly, that I didn't know more about the greatest White Sox player. He was speaking of Harold Baines. He has a little more education to go through and to get to the "T" section of White Sox player history. Lovin' Beckham though.
March 5, 200917 yr Seriously, Becks is a pretty good and creative writer. He's going to f***ing own this town if he keeps s*** like this up.
March 5, 200917 yr His analogy to that Farley skit is pretty fantastic. "Kwa-kee-sir-pee-nee.... ko?"
March 5, 200917 yr Hahahahaha, great blog! Thanks for the link, Beckham's a good blogger. I was laughing very hard at the part where he compared how he felt to how Chris Farley's character felt in that "Japanese Game Show" SNL skit. lol. I bookmarked the page.
March 5, 200917 yr QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Mar 4, 2009 -> 10:31 PM) Beckham is awesome, but this quote made me sad. He was speaking of Harold Baines. March 5, 200917 yr QUOTE (lvjeremylv @ Mar 5, 2009 -> 12:57 AM) Frank > Harold. That is all. would have sworn he was talking about Tony Phillips. Dude was part of the 120/120 club. Look it up.
March 5, 200917 yr QUOTE (witesoxfan @ Mar 5, 2009 -> 03:33 AM) would have sworn he was talking about Tony Phillips. Dude was part of the 120/120 club. Look it up. Was that 120 words muttered to himself and 120 spits before taking a swing?
