ultimate scrubs moment

Featured Replies

the dudes sitting behind us were scrubs fans and went wild when Wood came in -

Wood gave up a hit, then retired the side -

the following inning the pitcher struck out the first AL batter and the scrubs fans started chanting "Kerry, Kerry, Kerry..."

that is when we pointed out Ortiz was pitching -

they are so utterly clueless as to what is taking place in a game!

LMAO! Then they probably got out the cell phones right?

That same inning the cub fan in front of me was sure it was John Smoltz. At least he got the team right.

I hate to defend a Cub fan, but they flashed Smoltz' name on the screen when a pitching change was made, so I could see how it could have been mistaken.

Oh yeah, for the record. I did not Boo JM. I also did not cheer him.

Best moment for me ...

Two stupid Cub fans, in all their Cub garb, sitting two rows in front of us.

Ordonez comes up to pinch hit and fouls out to 1st ... these two jackasses get up, start cheering, telling all the Sox fans to sit down, Ordonez sucks, etc. etc. - all their usual stupidity.

When Ordonez caught the last out, they tried to sneak out like the whipped dogs they are. Several Sox fans gave them a major earfull on the way out ... all the way up the stairs, mostly saying ... "hey, Cub geeks, you got your ass whipped four out of six and you got your ass whipped tonight too! Have a nice night Cub Geeks!"

Pretty soon, a few dozen Sox fans picked up on it and were taunting them with "Cub Geeks, Cub Geeks, Cub Geeks" all the way down the ramp.
