DrunkBomber
Something cool I just started doing with my PS3 that I thought I would share. I dont remember seeing it on here before. I know most of you are familiar with the site www.surfthechannel.com, well if you go to your PS3 browser and go to that site you basically have any tv show and tons of movies On Demand for free without using an S cable. It works on sites like Hulu and google video as well. You have to get used to which host sites through STC are higher quality. Hulu, AOL and Google are best. Megavideo is pretty good most of the time but they try to limit how much you can watch for free without paying a monthly fee. You get 72 minutes and after that you have to wait 50 minutes to get another 72 minutes, or you can pay for an unlimited plan pretty cheap. The rest seem to be asian web sites, so if you can handle the sub titles theyll do the trick as well. If anyone needs any help with this let me know. EvilJester99
QUOTE (DrunkBomber @ Apr 5, 2009 -> 05:21 PM) Have you ever gotten your PS3 online? No I just got the PS3 last week. I can't seem to find my WEP code to allow it to link up. I have the IP address set up but it still won't connect.
DrunkBomber
Go to the web site of the company that makes your wireless router and chat with them live and ask them for the number. I had to do that before. All they need is the model number and serial number. Or you can use an ethernet plug.

rangercal
It's pretty awesome, though I've been pretty spoiled with HD and PS3 Blu ray, any way to find high quality movies out there?
EvilJester99
I got a hold of Linksys and they walked me through my set up. My PS3 is now active. Thanks Bomber for your help! Edited April 6, 2009 by EvilJester99
nitetrain8601
If you go to channelsurfing.net, they have some free shows up there. For all the entourage fans, watch-entourage.tv I believe is the website to watch every single episode possible. For movies or shows, ovguide.com lets you search every database to find the show or movie you want to watch.

The closest thing I have come across is to download a video, either torrent or other and download tversity to your cpu. If anyone is interested and doesnt know how to do it just do a google search of "how to use tversity with ps3" and videos will come up that will walk you through it. Once you have it it transfers any video / music or picture files from your cpu right to the PS3. The higher quality videos look really good. Id compare it to a medium of regular tv and HD. Depending on what kind of tv youre watching it on and if your ps3 is hooked up with an HD cable. Also, I havent tried this yet but Im assuming it will work. The justin.tv.com live feeds of pay per view UFC fights. I used to watch them on my CPU before and they worked. The next thing Im trying to do is find a way to stream the NFL network because Comcast is dropping it May 1st.
