July 18, 200322 yr I agree that losing sucks. We had so much fun and the optimism was flowing during that streak we beat the Red Sox, Cubs and Twins. That was the team we all knew was hiding somewhere in those Sox bodies. Every game we lose right now to the Tiger lair puts us that much further behind KC, which is beating teams like the Mariners. Every game we lose means we lose a little bit more of that special Sox fan optimism.
July 18, 200322 yr As much as it sounds like a pipe dream... I think that the last week, and last nights game will be good for the Sox in the long run. Last night they almost came back from an 8-1 deficit, and they are starting to see that you cant just come to play against the good teams. They still have 15 or so games against the Tigers, D-Rays, and Indians, if they go 10-4, theyll be 1 game over. If they can pace themselves with the Twins, and beat the Royals when we play head to head, we still have a chance. The season is not over until the magic number says it is. And in the end, talent always comes out. You cant have a bad season forever. SB
July 19, 200322 yr If you are sick of losing, then stop caring. How do you think I got through the later 90s? There is no need to get mad. Realize that this team is total crap and that they suck worse than the Tigers.
July 19, 200322 yr And that's why none of you should doubt me. Wow Heads, thats one out of how many.....100?
July 19, 200322 yr We don't lose when Mark B pitches these days, he's our ACE. Always has been. Loaiza's had a hell of a run though that cannot be denied. Esteban is the only one that kept this team somewhat respectable in the standings for all of April, May, and some of June. Loaiza and MB are 2003's White Sox ACE'S
July 19, 200322 yr FRANKLY IM REALLY ANGRY AND CANT TAKE LOSING MUCH LONGER well we all have something in common now dont we............
