You're right, he'll play right down to that 2002 and on level of Robbie Alomar. I will stand by my word and badmouth the trade til the end!

While I still like picking up Alomar (not at the cost of Ring, though), I was definately ready to not see Jimenez on the big league roster anymore. But, I do think we could have kept him, he had options left I believe, send him to Charlotte. Everyone knows that now we have no real second baseman next year, and we GAVE one to Cincinnati
