Seems like both those runs came in the 5th?

Yep. A walk, a single, and a double, with a couple K's mixed in.

Keep in mind with Jose...

He's not there to throw fastballs or win games.

He's there to get his offspeed stuff working again.

So the fact that he threw more strikes than balls is a good sign.

And even though he was throwing against a AAA team, Scranton-WB is far and away the best offensive team in the International League... averaging about 6.5 runs per game.

No box links? All three clubs that played won (Kanny off)...

Charlotte 2, Scranton 0

Anderson 2-4, 3B, K

Contreras as previously discussed

Lucy back in the lineup

2 hits for Castillo

Link another save

Birmingham 2, Carolina 1

JorDanks and Omogrosso rocking as previously noted

Fernando Hernandez now with 7 saves and a sub-1 ERA

Winston-Salem 4, Lynchburg 3

Mollenhauer: 3-4, HR, 2 R, 2 RBI, his OPS sits at .900 (may need to start watching this 22-year old)

Hudson solid for the W
