Pods still has a weak arm, but you can tell he's been working on it since we got rid of him after 07. His throws have been on a line this year, with some accuracy.

Pods is throwing with fantastic accuracy so far. I'm proud of him taking the opportunity and making the most of it.

From what he's shown this year, he's been giving great AB's and have been hitting a lot of balls hard. It's a shame because he's had 36 sporadic AB's that have resulted in only 7 hits has him labeled as a bad hitter right now. Give him some time.

That's just an awful swing by Nix there. That was the one thing he couldn't do.
