June 15, 200916 yr QUOTE (BearSox @ Jun 14, 2009 -> 05:28 PM) Don't get your hopes up... A lot of us were feeling positive after that Toronto series. Also, we are facing an NL Team. There was no one feeling positive. No one ever feels positive after a 4-game sweep. Maybe after Minnesota, Pittsburgh, LAA, or KC. This team also plays pretty well on the road, which is weird. If they ever figure it out at home, they are going to be a very solid team.

I phrased that badly.
June 15, 200916 yr QUOTE (BearSox @ Jun 14, 2009 -> 10:01 PM) I meant the games after the Toronto series. I phrased that badly. Yes you did. Two players hit their first career home runs in this game. Neither of them are Beckham or Getz.
June 15, 200916 yr Nice game, good to see Beckham with another double. Letting the ball get deep and hitting it the other way. Once he settles down a bit, he might be a nice gap to gap hitter. Great series. Lets move back on to Urine field and lets take that series as well.
June 15, 200916 yr My buddy and I were walking around the upper deck when he hit the bomb and everyone went absolutely apes*** when Mark hit the bomb. Awesome game.
June 15, 200916 yr We don't play too well at Urine Field. Hopefully we'll get good pitching and defense in the pit. Then we can worry about our off and on hitting. Gotta get good pitching to begin with.
June 15, 200916 yr The "hell yes" from Hawk after the game was so hysterical, can't stop laughing at that. Very good win today.
