If so, here we go again—the ultra-hip LA based Korean taco truck outfit, Kogi, is having a t-shirt contest.

I've received confirmation that my artwork has made the finals:

Polls will open any day now. Grand prize is two bills and a cut in line pass good for a month and 500 t-shirts printed. Runner up gets shirts printed and love.

(If you're a local, join me some night.)

Will you stuff the ballot box for me?

I couldn't locate the vote option either.

What's a Korean taco?

EDIT:

did an internet search and figured it out.

There were a few pics of miniature "dodsons" on hotdog buns.

I talked to a rep from Kogi tonight.

I am the runner-up. I was the staff favorite, which means my shirts are printed regardless, but not eligible for the two Benjamins and cut-in-line pass. However, there is promise of more paying work opportunities and other perks. Translation: my work is not a voting issue, they want to print it no matter what the public says.

Hey, I'll take it.

They will be sold online at kogibbq.com.

I had a few Korean tacos when I lived near the Wiltern. Exotic, submissive, not bad.

That's very cool, congrats!

An update.

I'm the first runner up, which means that my work will be featured in the first print run of 500. I'm ineligible for the cut in line pass or $200 prize, but there may be other opportunities forthcoming with the Kogi people.

You can pick one up wherever the trucks are, or at kogibbq.com. Release date still TBD.
