Props to Bartolo

If I can diss him I can certainly praise him. He was AWESOME today. The Tribe never had a chance. Please let this be the start of the REAL Bartolo Colon..... :headbang

You said it Jordan.

Cleveland does have a horrifically bad lineup, however.

What ever happened to the Tribe??

All no name players after their years of dominance.

maybe now with the ball is in our court so to speak, maybe he will see the light and start making the effort to help us get to post season.

once there, there is no pitcher who would shank it, except for the 1919 sox.

It's called rebuilding...

Yeah it's rebuilding, but the whole lineup at one time? And the whole pitching staff at one time?

The Tribe used to be stock full of stars.

but they really didn't have the pitching to take them there.

I can't be original, only add an amen to what jordan said. I've been very critical of Colon. If he wants to make me look bad all I can say is keep it up big guy. If he comes around we could have 4 strong starters for the rest of the season and that would be just great.

Tribe has ALOT of young talent. Buffalo is stacked with AAA stars as is their major league roster. If guys like Phillips, Broussard, Hafner develop major league hitting eyes along with pitchers like Traber, Tallet, Lee watch out for Cleveland. Mark it down.

The difference in the Colon we saw today and what we have been seeing is that he threw heat. 107 out of 111 pitches were fastballs. Someone apparently had something to say to Bartolo about what he should be bringing to the mound. And it's about time, too.

Their owner paid a boatload of money for the team, and his company has been bleeding money with the shrinking stock market the last few years. Jacobs sold at the right time. The other thing is all their name veterans are hurt, Burks, Vizquel etc. Its really a AAA team right now.

Wow.....107 fastballs outta of 111 pitches? I didn't see the gm so I wouldn't know. Throw that heat Bartolo.... :headbang

If San Francisco wants him....and they're willing to give us Foppert and Ainsworth(even though hurt) I'd do it.
