July 29, 200916 yr From MLB.com Sox Tidbits Thornton and his wife, Emily, welcomed daughter, Avery Annette, into the world Monday night in Chicago. The couple's first child weighed 7 pounds, 7 ounces Congrats to the Thorntons! No word on Thortons return, I speculate tomorrow against the Yankees.
