July 24, 200322 yr ... unless there is still a mind blowing trade out there, i dont really want to see any crappy trades... afraid it may mess up the chemistry again, and we may not be lucky enough to get it back like we have this time......
July 24, 200322 yr what f***ing chemistry are you talking about..... this team is already ammonia(sp?) and bleach
July 24, 200322 yr Author the team was starting to roll along and then kw pulled the trades and we stumbled, now finally getting it back together... another streak like that and were toast
July 24, 200322 yr we got frank thomas (pouter) and r alomar (spitter and a jake in NY) and everett ( all around nut job) what, you want to bring in mike tyson to close?
July 24, 200322 yr Author frank wont complain when were winning... alomar is gonna be fine.... and everett is a team player....boston and new york areas and medias can really screw a guy over... if you have paid attention to what everett did in texas and how he has come across in all his interviews here, then ya would notice that he's alright, despite not beleiving in dinosaurs i was refering more to offensive chemistry anyway
July 24, 200322 yr i would like to see some defensive chemistry.... the outfield still seems shakey... and the infield, while it has improved lately, is still suspect
July 24, 200322 yr Author the outfield does have its shaky moments, mostly in center tho... clee is much improved. If the sox so make some deal, if they send clee, then they can put everett in left and let rowand play center... that would be good... tho i still would like to hang onto clee.... but if we deal with the o's dunno if we can get anything without crede... and crede should be untouchable!
July 24, 200322 yr Author he's been pretty solid in the field, and his bat is a bit slow right now, but is coming around... i am sick of not having a true 3 bagger, and now that we have one, everyone wants to send him packin.... ARGH!
July 24, 200322 yr pretty solid on the field and a slow bat... we got a catcher that fits that description
July 24, 200322 yr I'd rather have Crede over Aramis Ramirez and his 24 errors this season. agreed.... i am just waiting for crede to get over the cusp....
July 24, 200322 yr This is something I probably wouldn't have said with the team playing the way they were in May, but I'm all for keeping Joe....he makes some REAL solid plays over at 3rd, and theres no doubt that when he quickens up his swing, he will be dangerous. I like having a cornerstone third baseman that can be here for a while, a la Robin V. Now, if we can just find us a shortstop age 25 or younger, then I'd love our infield.
July 24, 200322 yr Author we have got to find a way to coax arod from texas with tex paying most of his salary... lol that would be the day
July 24, 200322 yr Jason, who is out there at SS, potential FA or in the minors, aged 25 or younger that could be a MLB SS? I'm tired of waiting...and Jose can't play too much longer

I'm tired of waiting...and Jose can't play too much longer Tejada and Matsui (From Japan) are the two best free agent shortstops. In the farm system Hummel is the only guy close enough that could come in and play shortstop next year. They do have some talented guys in A ball and Great Falls though for shortstop, but they won't help for a while.
