Alexei and its not even close. There should be a disclaimer at the top of the board that keeps mentioning he's a rookie at the position for god sakes.

this really depends on what you want to believe. according to the organization the guy is a natural SS and he played there for years in cuba. now there have been contrary reports that have said his real natural position was CF (which i tend to believe), so if that is true, you are right ,and he is learning SS. but if you trust KW and ozzie the guy has been playing SS for years and "would make us forget about ozzie ever playing SS"

I recall seeing a thread on this site discussing this same point. I thought Cubano went back over his career and illustrated that Alexei rarely, if ever, played SS both on the national team as well as on Pinar Del Rio (I think that was his team). If anything, the whole notion that SS is his natural position is a myth.
