anyone else get a kick out of the Chicago Tribune commercials for their "awesome" sports sections showing their pre-seasons predictions of the Cubs winning 95 games (1st place) and the Sox winning 74 games. (Last place)

They are much closer on the Sox prediction.

 

The funny part is that they thought 74 wins would finish last place in a 5 team division. The exaggerated records were biased enough, but slapping last place on the end of it isn't even trying to cover it up.

 

Yes, I realize it happened last year, but that's rare.

That is the stupid part. I thought about making a thread title-Dumbass Chicago Journalists Hall of Fame-were we can post all of the stupid articles from the Cubune and Scum Times.
