no way, you can get pretty much anything done, and have to, given the fact that a huge portion of the offseason happens to be winter. they can get anything they need to done provided it doesn't get down to 5-10 degrees. if they waited for 50 we'd be 3 weeks into the season.

I would be shocked and amazed if anything more than a buildout of the empty ground floor space in the new north end stair tower gets done in the next two years. Whatever commercial development gets buit at that location has to survive on its own and cannot rely on the critical mass provided by only 81 home dates. With the economy in the tank and banks unwilling to lend, trust me, the extensive development described in the article will not happen.

I don't know where the money is coming from but as for a name for the development how about "White Sox World".
