July 27, 200322 yr Author Huff comes to bat with two out, men on second and third, first open, and White, who is struggling big time, starts pitching to Huff, and Hawk and DJ could not believe it and said so. So Huff gets a solid hit, a double I think, breaks the game open, and the rest is history. Later in the game Hawk expressed himself again. Huff, of course, hits lefty, so even if JM doesn't want to walk Huff, he could at least bring in Wunsch. I personally think it is against JM's religion to bring Wunsch into the game that early.

July 27, 200322 yr Hawk was vocal tonight. He ven used a curse word when yelling about Frank not off and running full speed on that 2 out hit by Maggs. Frank scored, but had hesitated not realizing it was two outs.
July 27, 200322 yr I didnt catch Franks run to home, but I saw when Alomar Jr. hit the home run. Hawk put more enthusiasm then he usually does. When the ball was hit Hawk was yelling, "GET UP!!!!!!! GET UP!!!!! STRETCH!!!!!!!" I like Hawk and DJ, they don't bulls***. They are fans, and if the team is losing (like they were 5 inning and on) or make a bad decision Hawk and DJ wont hold anything back.
July 27, 200322 yr See, what you are all saying is Hawk does criticize. He is critical. Name another big league announcer that criticizes and keeps his job? Football announcers are the worst. They are screamers for the home team at all times.
