The new scoring is amazing! Means you play H2H for a week and you either win (1) or lose (1). Not 7-2 14-3 etc. That is revolutionary! Going to be awesome. Also the Auction leagues seem very interesting.

Mate - from my understanding it goes as follows: Team A plays Team B in week 1. You use all your players on the week, switching them in and out of lineups (unless of course you set your lineup to change weekly, not daily) You compete in the league chosen categories (for arguments sake the simple 5x5) The winner of the most categories gets the W for the week. Obviously, we will have to wait and see how yahoo presents it to be sure of my words, but I think that seems logical - and would be awesome.

January 23, 201016 yr Author Once again - I'm not positive on the issues, but it offers an entire new strategy to where you only have to win 6 out of 10 etc. Could load up on elite SP + Closers + Speed guys and win 5 pitching + speed cat and win every week. It offers tons new strategy.

Again - I am simply speculating on what it exactly means, could go alot of different ways.

January 27, 201016 yr We definitely need a Soxtalk auction draft this year, I did a couple for basketball this year and they are amazingly fun. The only problem is you can get royally screwed if you're not there, though you can pre-enter auction values.
February 10, 201016 yr Just a heads up to anyone that was commish of a league last year to re-new the league. It's really quick and painless, I did it for the keeper league in about 2 minutes including invites to past participants. I see the league 2 thread got bumped, I already did the keeper and sent Knightni a reminder for league 1. I have no idea who the commisioners were of the other leagues, so if someone let me know that'd be nice.
February 19, 201016 yr About time Yahoo added auction drafts and a FAAB budget. Adds a lot more strategy and competition that is definitely needed for public leagues.
