As further proof that I have no life, I took a moment to check on our three ex-prospects. Webster is hitting .211, Rupe is 1-0 with 2 runs in 4 innings, and Frank Francisco got tagged for 10 hits, 5 runs in 4 innings at AA.

I am by no means telling you what to do but I recently reviewed the stats of all KW traded players (ML and minors.) Kept me pretty busy but was also quite interesting.

If they keep up stats like that, maybe all the minor league freaks will shut-up about how we traded away our future. If the Sox do make the playoffs. The nay-sayers should be banned from buying tickets. :dips***

Well I guess i'm considered a "minor league freak" but rarely have I complained about who we gave up.

 

Rupe was the only guy who we traded that I really regret giving up simply because I believe the Sox could of got the deal done without including him. That being said all the Sox have given up, minus Ring, have been low level prospects and one AAAer with a very high ERA who was too old to really be considered a prospect anymore (Almonte).

i am a minor leaguer freak by your definations and what is the msg board for to talk and exchange ideas. maybe those who can't stand it should leave or at least shut up or better yet, don't read the post.

 

 

either way i understood the trade, i didn't like the prospect we gave up b/c i still think we gave up too much. i think they could've been used for a bigger or at least another trade.

 

i am for trading anybody who can make the club better. no one is untouchable if the right deal comes along. but i still haven't seen the production from everett to convince me that he is helping right now. i hope to see it in the future and if i hope it will be in the playoff.
