Shiroi Hana is a good little spot I used to go to back in my earlier college days, its more of a "fast-food" sushi place, still good stuff that will put you in a food coma if youre not careful

That Macku Place looks good.

I'm really only looking for some good, but not super-fancy overly priced sushi.

Where are you staying?

There are alot of sushi places in chicago, each with a different flair.

My go to's:

South Coast-top notch

Rise-expensive but good

Sushi Pink-local standby

Mirai

South coast is by far my fav. Better and much less crowded than Coast in Bucktown. I could design the entire menu for you because I go there that much. Pink is a block away from me and is a great value.

I'm gonna be in the city next week, seeing if any of you fine classy people have any places to recommend...

Your nuts. Sushi is much better in Cali.
