Adkins should be a candidate for the 5th starter. He probably won't be ready for next Sat, but it's better than giving up 3 more prospects for just a few starts. Plus, Adkins is on the 40 man roster.

I wonder if he just put himself into the mix for the 5th starter with his last outing? Guess we will have to see what Danny Wright does in his next start to really know.

If there are no trades and we bring in Wright for Saturday's start in Seattle, who goes down? And if the Sox decide on Wright, They almost have to fly him to Seattle by Thursday just to get over the jet lag.

 

I think it means the "R" word for Rick White. That's why we should offer him to the Cards for a song, just to get rid of part of his salary.

You're ignorant to the entire situation. Konan called Rick White a "f*****" and that he should be "assassinated", and I was making an example of how stupid that was. That is a derogatory slur, yet some people think it's OK for me not to blow a gasket over it. Yet, if I would have dropped the N bomb on White previous to Konan calling him a f*****, I would be gone in mere seconds. I'm presenting an example here, not condoning racial or sexual slurs.
