Media Attention

Featured Replies

is it me or has the media attention been mostly on the sox this past 2 week with hardly a ripple on the slugs from the northside? even after winning 6 of the last 10 games and with the hitting of homers from that juice induce junky has not help garnish the media attention away from the sox.

again as i have said many times, you put the winner on the field, the fans will come and so would the media. its a good time to be a sox fan/

Actually, I see more about the 4-12 in '02 Monster's  of the Midway during the sports telecasts than I do anything about the Sox.

i really have a couple of choice words for you now. :D

but i am talking about us and the slugs in ref to baseball talk.

:)

Yes we are getting some ink, but winning 10 of 11 will do that for ya. Now if we keep taking care of business, we can start stealing some national headlines.

Funny how one game last night can change the opinion of all the BB Tonight analysts. Just how many band wagons do they have in Bristol? :bang

I noticed the same thing - except for one instance on the back of the Sun Times Monday morning. Sammy goes 1 for 11 in the Houston series and he has a big pic with the headline: "Power Surge" or something like that. Give me a break!

bingo and that will pay off in attendence and it will show that you put a winning team on the field, jr will see money.

this is a bigger scheme on why we should not dismantle the team but work hard in keeping it together for next yr.

Actualy Harold Reynolds has said since the Alomar and Everett trades that he thought the Sox would win the division.

I get the Daily Herald everyday. And I have noticed the Sox takin up a big portion of the front page and the Cubs kinda sittin in the back-ground...As far as media attention that stuff never really mattered to me. When you're winning everybody loves u. Simple as that. I just wanna see this team play like they're capable of playing. I could care less how much attention we get from anybody...

We occupied the cover of MLB.com for a while yesterday

It talked about how these aren't the same Sox KC faced earlier.
