It's good to see that MLB didn't punish Buehrle, even though he said enough in the media to likely get a suspension. If they would have suspended West, that would have been inappropriate as well. May 29, 201015 yr Call any of the umps Elliot Ness. They are all Untouchable. West got fined for something off the field, not anything to do with his actions. As head of the umpire union, he's laughing about the decision. I'd like to see the fine amount for each. If Maddon and Crawford only got fined and not suspended after their onfield tirade, it didn't look like Guillen or Buerhle would be suspended.
