July 31, 200322 yr As Jose said: NO MERCY!! I think all the early season frustration is serving as powerful motivation right now. The key is for the "weak" hitters to stop making outs -- Crede, Olivo, Konerko. When they hit the ball, and Maggs stays completely on fire, look out. I loved the two 5-spots tonight, and all the little 1s in between.
July 31, 200322 yr I know this is a thread about the offense but what I love is that we have some defense to go with it. Olivo is quickly becoming one of my favorite players on the team. And even though Crede isn't lighting it up with his bat, his defense, along with that of Jose and Roberto, is keeping us solid in the infield. I'm not convinced they are going to keep it up yet but I am really enjoying it right now.
