It's possible (we're not in the AL east, so it would be an outer-divisional trade), but I'm not sure I'd want to give up value for a possible bust. The yankees would probably ask a lot for him if they were even considering dealing him

I would be willing to a shot at him depending on the price, but I see the Yankees saving him to move in a bigger deal or just try and fix him by themselves.

 

Champerlain has proven to be one of the dumbest pitchers in baseball though.

I think this would be a better off season move. It looks like the Sox are going to be in this thing until the end, and that means a lot of pressure for Coop and the rest of the pitching staff. Coop probably needs an off season to work with and to get him fixed.

 

But I bet Coop could fix him, and this would be a great move for next year.
