August 1, 200322 yr Author If it would have been at USCF it would have been the lead story on CNN. WTF!
August 1, 200322 yr That is a joke. They have also had a fan throw a cell phone onto the field, and an M-80 in different games.
August 1, 200322 yr Author I guess it is Oakland. I forget sometimes that these same people are also Raider fans.

August 1, 200322 yr Oakland also had another incident earlier but all the blame is on Chicago huh? :fyou
August 1, 200322 yr Did anybody else see what I saw? It said something like "For the second day in a row, a fan charged onto the field." Yet, when a Cubs fan or two charge onto the field at USCF, all White Sox fans are the devil and the White Sox should be contracted and USCF security is s***ty, blah blah blah. Then we get blamed for everything. It's f***ing bulls***. I am starting to hate the A's and ESPN more and more each day :fyou
August 1, 200322 yr That is a joke. They have also had a fan throw a cell phone onto the field, and an M-80 in different games. My friend was at the bomb game. He was sitting behind the home plate, and the incident was in LF. He said it was loud as hell.
August 1, 200322 yr Did anybody else see what I saw? It said something like "For the second day in a row, a fan charged onto the field." <clip> I am starting to hate the A's and ESPN more and more each day :fyou the unfairness of the coverage really angers me - that si one reason that if I am not watching an actual game, I never watch any ESPN on baseball at all
August 1, 200322 yr The M-80 really pissed me off. They said a fan "assaulted" the umpire. It looked more like he fell and grabbed him to hold himself up. Yeah, it wasn't cool, and yeah, the umpire was in a somewhat dangerous situation, but you want to talk about "assault?" That's what happened in Oakland with that M-80. Attempted man slaughter. Hardly any news on that at all. But, it did happen west of the Mississippi, so I guess ESPN doesn't give a crap.
