November 17, 201015 yr Apparently the Bravos plan on moving Martin Prado to LF. So, let's see ... The Marlins have now, in the space of about 72 hours, traded their starting center fielder and their starting second baseman for three relief pitchers and a utility infielder? And locked down John Buck for three years? If nothing else, you've got to give them credit for dynamism. I just can't figure out who's going to play center field next spring. And without a center fielder, you give up way too many triples.
November 17, 201015 yr Author QUOTE (Thunderbolt @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 08:44 PM) The Marlins ownership continues their reign of terror with another disastorous return from a salary dump. Just what the hell was the thought process here? Eh... but can a Marlins fan really complain? I mean the Marlins have been in existence for less than 20 years and already have 2 World Series Championships.
November 17, 201015 yr QUOTE (Chet Kincaid @ Nov 17, 2010 -> 09:12 AM) Eh... but can a Marlins fan really complain? And they've also had to endure 2 separate complete selloffs/team dismantlings, of the sort that we haven't seen in Chicago baseball in more than 20 years.
November 17, 201015 yr QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Nov 16, 2010 -> 06:35 PM) Tim Hudson is gonna enjoy watching his new 2nd baseman field all those ground balls. Despite that, I do think its a great move for the Braves. He really is an impact bat, that can make up for his defense, plus you may be able to stick him in LF anyway. Since 2006, Uggla has the 5th most HRs out of all right handed hitters, just behind A-Rod, Pujols, MCab, & PK. Wow, I never would have guessed that.
