LVSoxFan
I was at the game today and actually, while it was Groundhog Day for the first half, they did come back and threaten late. Dunn FINALLY hit something. Lillibridge homered (!?!?! our Sox hero?) and it did seem from the UD behind home plate that Rios got screwed on that call. So this one didn't bother me as much. But DAMN I cannot remember such a dismal start in recent history. One bright side: Santos is obviously the closer.
chetkincaid
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 1, 2011 -> 05:14 PM) Some late innings signs of life today, which is nice to see. Get to 4 games out and at .500 or better by the end of the month. I'm still in b****es. I'm with you player
SoxnGiants
I'm not one to complain to much about coaches, but I have found it frustrating seeing Swisher leave the team, make subtle changes to his approach at the plate (which he credits Kevin Long for) and then see significant improvement. Sure, he's off to a tough start this year, but he put up back to back good years in NY after leaving Chicago. Maybe he should have had the same result here with a better hitting coach. Could be coincidence, but we seem to have players stay in slumps longer than other teams.

southsider2k5
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ May 1, 2011 -> 11:59 AM) Lol. I miss Jan, Feb, March when I was the board demon. It's no fun anymore. I will say this much for you J, at least you were here and out front. I haven't seen some of these people in years. I keep catching myself saying "Who the f*** is that?" These people must have been hiding with Bin Laden or something.
