Beckham's stance makes it impossible for him to hit a good fastball. Walker's strategy of having his hands out front and close to his body is crazy.

I was just thinking what the Gordo of 2009 would have done to ANY of those fastballs Lowe threw him. Most likely they would have been hit hard somewhere into right center. That was before Walker could sink his teeth into him though. Was it Beckham's idea to change his stance???

our turn for a 1,2,3

I still remember the Baseball America article in which they were so impressed by Beckham's contact rate in the minors.

our pitchers insist on pitching from behind. FU thornton

Thornton's control absolutely SUCKS.

Ha, walk the lefty #9 hitter. Kinsler is a terrible match-up for Thornton.

He was squeezed bigtime on that. This ump's strikezone sucks. Hawk needs to relax though, geeze

He's a few mph short tonight...again

the lead off walk never fails to score.

Very nice! Wasn't sure if Beckham was even on the bag, it happened so quick.

It does when you try to bunt him into scoring position

really, go 2-0?

This umps zone isn't even a rectangle. It's completely misshapen.

Hamilton really is a 5 tool player.

Really Hamilton? Break your arm again on a headfirst slide, why don't you? What an idiot.

Great point!

Can someone give a play by play?

since the rain delay every reliever has tried to hand this game to the rangers. Thornton may have just succeeded.

Hopefully AJ doesn't let Santos fall in love with his fastball again.
