Who has time to look, it's way at the top of the screen..people are focused on just going into the forums...I had 2 new ones and didn't notice it until 2 days later... I think you're asking to much for people to move their eyes up there...that takes to much time and people forget

All pop up blockers indicate whenever they block a pop up, so that's in indicator in itself that you could have a PM waiting. This board never carries pop-ups, so it's easy to discover that.
