July 30, 201114 yr Author Geez Loiuse!! Forgot to add at the beginning of the post (May not make a whole lot of difference but maybe it does). CC may opt out leaving the Yanks with a big hole. If Captain Cheeseburger opts out, its just so that he'll sign a longer contract with the Yankees.

He is a decent pitcher but with a 3 and 8 record which may improve by year's end he would be a bargain if he accepted arbitration.

I don't think Danks (or Floyd) are candidates to be traded until the off-season, if then. Why trade Danks? I don't want to. I think he's a good, dependable starter, but he's also young, will probably get a little better, and doesn't make a ton of money yet. In other words, for a team that has to probably cut budget for next season, and try to remain competetive, they may look to cash in a guy like Danks for 2 good prospects.
