USCF now uses a barcode scanner to authenticate real tickets from forgeries. All I can say is make sure there is a barcode if you buy from a scalper. No guarantee the barcode is authentic either. Flash Tizzle Posted August 9, 2003 Share Posted August 9, 2003 Me and my friends got $5 bleacher seats from this black guy selling them right outside 35th and Shields. There was a cop right next to us, but the black guy said he didnt care. We said all we had was 5 buck and he gave us the tickets. I worried about them being forgeries, but the computer pad said GO when she scanned it so they must be fine. If you see this guy, buy some good/cheap seats.
