Since the Sox are in the rebuilding process. Does anyone think that KW will sign any of these players, since they're young and could help us for many years?

No thank you.. you get those players if you have the luxury to eat their contract if they end up sucking. Since the White Sox have 3 of those deals already... No thank you.

Just because they rid themselves of payroll doesn't mean they have money to spend.

Soler is a guy I can see fitting into the Sox plans. Young guy who will probably need a little seasoning a la Viciedo and could slide into an OF spot when Rios' contract expires. Fits into the rebuilding process well. IF they can make a deal before Cespedes signs they have a shot, but I think a lot of people come hard after Soler once Cespedes signs.

 

Darvish will end up in somplace like Seattle, I think the sting is to fresh from Daisuke in Boston and that the NYY results with Japanese pithcing will keep them out of it.

 

The Tigers are apparently the front runner for Cespedes.

My guess is we don't simply because someone like Darvish will probably cost a lot and this team doesn't spend much on young talent. They prefer to give it away
