January 16, 201214 yr It's amazing that he was only 39 when he was killed. The "I have a dream" speech is something I will always stop and listen to if it's on tv or radio. Maybe one day we will stop judging people by the color of their skin, their religion, their sexual preference, etc.
January 16, 201214 yr I usually teach Valley of Tears on this day, as a way to bring the Civil Rights movement closer to home for my students. January 16, 201214 yr He was special. He paved the way for everyone else too, not just african americans.
