For those that wonder if it's over...

Remember that a week ago, the Cubbies were 3 or so games back... It pains me to point out that they are now in a tie for first.

When the races are tight, division leads slip back and forth nightly. Get used to it.

I'd rather be the Sox in this division with the Sox talent than be the Cubs, an equal amount out of first...

Forkit!

2/1/2 games back with over a month and a half of the season left...IT AIN't OVER, Its just begun.

I would definately argue that minus Detroit, the AL Central is WAY better than the NL Central.

it's ain't over, but we've already blown too many games against Detroit, Cleveland, Tampa and the other softies.

it's time to kick it in gear and keep it there.

Cleveland is something like 8-3 vs. Minnesota this year. Cleveland is a much tougher competitor than Milwaukee or even Cincinnati lately.

Correct me if I'm wrong but I think we've had one whole day in sole posession of first place.

After watching these guys for 4 innings tonight, I think it's over. I'll keep watching, however.

Being blind to what's happening does not make you a "true" Sox fan. This is the Sox team of April, May, and early June, and it's absolutely sickening.

If Jose is dogging it on the bases, and if Robbie just aged ten years in the last month, and if Olivo refuses to lay off curve balls out of the strike zone, and if Everett continues proving that he is not a centerfielder, then this team is about to enter free fall. I would be all for bringing up Hummel and Reed. I don't know what the big deal is. Who is the better hitter, Konerko or Reed? Looks pretty obvious to me. Let Carl DH, put Frank on first. Last year when the team was floundering they brought up Crede/Harris and started playing Rowand. The team got a little spark. IF we play like this through the weekend, they need to be shook up a bit.

It may be over unless the schedule maker lets us

play all our games at home.

We have nothing on the road.

We play like guys wanting to get to the hotel bar.

We do have alot of home games in September. Maybe I'll just stop watching Sox road games.

Try 8

Here's to a 1-4 roadtrip through Friday :cheers
