October 16, 201213 yr Unfortunately, for those of us who think Mike Trout is 100% deserving of the award, he's not going to win. Some idiot Tigers fan on FB thought Cabrera played above average defense. I just stopped reading from there on. That's like saying Jermaine Dye was a good outfielder during the last few years of his White Sox tenure. Edited October 16, 201213 yr by chw42

October 16, 201213 yr It's unfortunate for Trout that the season he just had (as a rookie, no less) took place in the same year that Cabrera will rightfully be the unanimous MVP selection. No shame in being Rookie of the Year and runner-up for the MVP award.
October 16, 201213 yr Cabrera deserves the MVP and will get it. Trout is the rightful runner up and ROY.
October 16, 201213 yr QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 16, 2012 -> 12:02 AM) [this was me] I..have..an..idea Cabrera deserves the MVP and will get it. Trout is the rightful runner up and ROY. yikes
October 16, 201213 yr QUOTE (kjshoe04 @ Oct 16, 2012 -> 12:02 AM) Cabrera deserves the MVP and will get it. Trout is the rightful runner up and ROY. I mean, how about you just read it? I'd cite the facts again, but that would take away hits from Flapship. So, how about you just read it. Again. Because this statement is wrong.
