Unfortunately, for those of us who think Mike Trout is 100% deserving of the award, he's not going to win.

 

Some idiot Tigers fan on FB thought Cabrera played above average defense. I just stopped reading from there on.

 

That's like saying Jermaine Dye was a good outfielder during the last few years of his White Sox tenure.

It's unfortunate for Trout that the season he just had (as a rookie, no less) took place in the same year that Cabrera will rightfully be the unanimous MVP selection. No shame in being Rookie of the Year and runner-up for the MVP award.

Cabrera deserves the MVP and will get it. Trout is the rightful runner up and ROY.
