Thigpen, not sure about. Just an internal promotion, "Sox Loyalty" thing there apparently. He flamed out quickly, but Thigpen was a pretty good reliever for a 6 year stretch. I like the idea of having a guy who knows the rigors of being in that position.

November 28, 201213 yr Anyone things the Thigpen hiring is due in part with the young bullpen we have ? Seems like a good fit for guys like Reed, Jones etc.
